Cafés in Lahore and Rawalpindi live on reviews and regulars, and can measure neither. The tools that exist make the customer download an app first — which, at a counter on café data, is where most people stop.
So: nobody installs anything. The name is the point — a khata is the ledger every shop here already keeps.
